# Presentations

> Create, duplicate, edit, review, export, and share QBRs and presentation artifacts.

## What Presentations is for

Presentations is the internal authoring home inside Engage for QBRs and client-ready artifacts. Its Artifacts tab shares the same managed library, lifecycle, exports, and sharing controls as the standalone **Studio beta** destination in the primary navigation.

Client seats do not have access to this authoring section. They continue to see only explicitly approved and shared artifact versions through controlled reader or document links.

## QBRs

The **QBRs** tab lists existing event-backed QBR documents using a stable QBR identity. You can search by title, filter by customer, open an existing QBR, or create a new one.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Start a QBR">
    Select **New QBR**, enter a title, and choose the customer.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a starting point">
    Use the standard blueprint or duplicate an existing QBR. Duplicates receive independent section identities so later edits do not affect the source.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Edit and save">
    Open the QBR, select **Edit QBR**, change its structured sections, and save. Reset to blueprint remains available while editing.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Artifacts

The **Artifacts** tab contains managed presentations and documents across customer projects. Filters for customer, project, owner, lifecycle state, and format remain available. Managed presentations retain their private-draft, approval, client-visibility, PDF/PPTX export, and publication behavior.

Studio beta remains available as a separate primary destination for focused artifact authoring and future Studio features. **All artifacts**, **My artifacts**, and **Approved** views preserve the same durable library filters, while `/studio/artifacts/:id` keeps authors inside Studio beta. Presentation artifact links preserve their artifact identity under `/presentations/artifacts/:id`.

## Migration behavior

Existing QBR content remains stored in its compatible report format during the first migration phase; no legacy content is deleted or automatically published. Older `/events/:id` QBR bookmarks resolve to `/presentations/qbrs/:qbrId`. Genuine events remain in Events.

Future managed-QBR conversion is deliberately gated behind content-parity and review checks. Conversion must not approve, publish, share, or consume image-generation credits automatically.
